We're in Korea!
I really wanted to write before we left, to gloat about having a week and a half off and embarking on our little journey to South Korea. Now it's our last day here, and we're back in Pusan and heading "home" tomorrow. We're having an excellent time, enjoying the wonderful hospitality of our Victoria (now Pusan) friends Jan and Dave and learning to love something called dokkbokki, whose English translation seems to be "street food." We were in Seoul for a few days, Geounju (the capital of the Silla dynasty for 1000 years) for a few more, and have been eating more than our fair share of kimchi and grilled meat. Out for one more delicious meal tonight (this place seems to be all about food, in a really good way), and on the Beetle ferry to Fukuoka tomorrow at 8:30. Photos and more details to follow. I'm looking forward to feeling more "connected" again soon (a whole week off...)
