The Trouble With Digital Photos

Keeping this blog has been forcing me to think about the pros and cons of the digital world and leaving a digital record, etc. An interesting article in today's NYT describes how unstable writable cds are. It suggests that cds you make at home may only have a shelf-life of a few years. So if, like us, you were planning on saving all of your digital photos in a book of neatly catalogued cds, think again. Eek!
