Here is me receiving third prize for my performance at the bunkasai yesterday. "A bronze medal"- one of the English teachers said yesterday. Third after the brass band and the haiya club, who were both excellent (but who, I was told by a rather impassioned teacher last night, after he'd unwound a bit, should not be judged in the same category as individuals because the clubs practice every day of the year.) This photo isn't great, but that is Reimei's kocho-sensei (principal) giving me the certificate. It was perhaps one of the most bizarre moments of my life. I was really happy.
