On Blogging and Disco

Since starting this blog, Kate and I have been thinking about where an end to group-emails begins (our original motive for starting FWG) and where full-on narcissism starts. Maybe you've been asking yourself the same questions. Mommy (and me) an article about parents who blog (with lots of links to their sites) was liberating in that these people just don't give a damn. They know they're self-absorbed.

That's probably a better way to go about blogging than coming up with some kind of "I only read it for the articles" rationalization -- We only do it to avoid the group emails.

Will blogging become the disco of the new millenium? Is this something we're all going to feel really ashamed of a couple years down the road? Hmmm.
