Nationalism on the rise

An interesting follow-up to the article on Germany Grant posted yesterday, this article is about teachers in Tokyo who have been punished for refusing to sing the national anthem. I've just had a little chat with a few teachers about Tokyo's conservative governor, and the strict rules he's enforced (putting even more pressure, more than the ridiculous amount that is currently exerted, on Japanese teachers.)
